Nichols Fire
Department
There are not enough words to describe how important Jason is to the Nichols Fire Department. He's the first person that new recruits interact with when joining the Nichols Fire Department, and continues to be a guide and a mentor to everyone that joins. Jason also serves on the Board of Governors to onboard new members. He currently serves as a Captain of the Nichols Fire Department, and oversees operations at Station 1 as House Captain. Jason has done and will continue to do so much for Nichols, that we feel it's our duty to encourage as many people as possible to step up and also contribute.

In addition to being a member of the Nichols family, Jason is an incredible husband and father of two. As described on the family's website, Jason is a constant source of strength, wisdom, and love.

Jason urgently needs a kidney transplant due Stage 4 kidney failure that follows 16 years of a Lupus diagnosis. According to the Mayo Clinic, lupus is a disease in which your immune system attacks your own tissues. As a result, Jason is searching for a compatible living donor as his best hope for recovery. Unfortunately, type O blood has the longest wait time from a deceased donor, approximately 7-8 years.

You don't need to be an organ donor to help out either, donating to his fundraiser will also be a significant contribution to Jason and his family. Please consider donating by clicking here or the button at the top of the page.
