The Nichols Fire Department was proud to play a role in the Nichols Improvement Association's annual Christmas tree lighting this evening.  The Hillcrest Middle school chorales sang for the crowd of onlookers who enjoyed their seasonal melodies.  This years guest to light the tree was the NFD's own Pastor Joe Piccirillo.  He was chosen due to the immense amount of time and effort he puts into all of the local groups and clubs throughout the Nichols community!  The hit of the night was jolly old St. Nick arriving on the turntable of Quint 303 waving to all of the parents and kids as he pulled up.  Thanks to all who helped make this evening another great event.
