Early this morning, members of the Nichols Fire Department assembled at Station 1 in preparation to raise the American flag for the annual Jingle Bell Run.  The event draws many runners to our community and our members always come through supporting this great event.  A team of firefighters, led by Capt. Brian McGovern and Lt. Bill O'keefe, placed Quint 303 on the front apron of Station 1 and flew the colors over the roadway creating a picturesque finish for the runners on their final approach to the finish line.  The NFD's own Pastor Joseph once again ran in the 5K event, proudly wearing his NFD colors- WAY TO GO PASTOR JOE!
